Caroline Lamar Woodbridge papers

This collection consists of family items collected by Caroline Lamar Woodbridge. Included in the collection is a journal by Eliza Anderson Lamar describing the Summer of 1867, spent in Virginia, and her travels in Europe (Versailles, Vichy, Switzerland, Paris, Fontainbleau, London and Liverpool). There is also a letter from Sarah Mackay to John Mackay containg an account by Gazaway Bugg Lamar, a survivor from the wreck of the steamboat Pulaski. Additionally there are notes and clippings from the Washington, Lanier, Bryan, Habersham, Woodbridge, Wylly, and Lamar family bibles. Finally there is a cookbook containing recipes from the family, Mrs. Leila Habersham's cooking class, and others.
